1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Turning Point WI's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Turning Point WI provides professional driving instruction services exclusively for adult learners in Wisconsin. Services include:

  • One-hour in-car driving lessons
  • Online lesson booking and scheduling
  • Pickup and drop-off service
  • Use of our fully insured vehicle
  • Professional certified instruction

3. Eligibility Requirements

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid Wisconsin Instruction Permit or Driver's License
  • Provide accurate pickup address information
  • Accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

4. Booking and Payment

Booking: Lessons can be booked up to 40 days in advance through our online platform. All bookings are subject to availability.

Payment: Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards processed securely through Stripe. Prices vary based on day and time of lesson.

Pricing: Current pricing is displayed during the booking process. Prices are subject to change with notice.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

24-Hour Policy: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time.

Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

No-Shows: Failure to appear for a scheduled lesson without prior cancellation will result in forfeiture of the full lesson fee.

Instructor Cancellations: If we must cancel a lesson due to instructor unavailability or weather conditions, you will receive a full refund or free rescheduling.

6. Student Responsibilities

As a student, you agree to:

  • Arrive on time and ready for your scheduled lesson
  • Bring your valid instruction permit or driver's license
  • Follow all instructor directions and safety guidelines
  • Not operate the vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Respect the instructor and vehicle
  • Provide accurate contact and pickup information

7. Limitation of Liability

Our vehicles are fully insured and maintained. However, Turning Point WI is not liable for:

  • Personal injuries sustained during lessons (covered by our insurance policy)
  • Lost or stolen personal belongings
  • Delays or cancellations due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
  • Failure to pass the DMV road test

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific lesson in question.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, inappropriate behavior, or any actions that compromise the safety of our instructors or other students.

10. Modifications to Terms

Turning Point WI reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Wisconsin.

Message Types: By providing your phone number and opting in, you may receive SMS/text messages related to our driving instruction services, including lesson confirmations, lesson reminders, instructor updates, and scheduling communications.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your booking activity.

Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving SMS/text messages at any time by texting STOP to cancel. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. Opting out of SMS will not affect your account or access to our services, but may delay important scheduling notifications that would otherwise be sent by text.

No Sharing or Selling: Your mobile information — including your phone number and SMS opt-in consent data — will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use your phone number solely to deliver the SMS communications you have consented to receive as part of our driving instruction services.

Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent: Consent to receive SMS/text messages is not a condition of purchase or use of our driving instruction services.
